Here are 3 ways that fighters who do MMA in MD improve there strength.  Determine your maximal weight threshold.  What is meant by that is figure out how much the one repetition max is for the legs and arms then tailor a workout plan that promotes grow in strength.

The recovery process is important because the muscles need time to heal after being broken down from strength training.  We can recover by taking a day off to relax your muscles, but if taking a break from training is too daunting of a task then do light drilling or cardiovascular conditioning.  Try to avoid strenuous activities on the muscles.  They can also recover by having a supplement drink before or after each high intensity workout.  When someone does strength training the body’s muscles are being torn apart.  A recovery drink will assist in healing and building the muscles back up.

You have to keep track of what you are doing.  Fighters who get MMA training in MD know they have to keep track of everything that they do to get better.  Record everything that is being done during the training sessions. Keep track of things like what is eaten, how long are the training sessions are and what activities are being done, and body composition.  How would someone know how far they have gotten in their MMA training in the MD if they don’t even know where they started?  Record everything to see progress.
