What We Believe
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God, inerrant, and infallible. We believe they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life. We believe that God preserved His Word for the English speaking people in the King James Bible (Authorized Version).
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, not three different gods.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, that He is 100% God and 100% Man! He was born to die on Calvary's Cross to pay for the sins of all Mankind. That He died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified because of His shed blood!
We believe that the Genesis account of creation is to be accepted literally, and not allegorically or figuratively; that man was created directly in God's own image and was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary change of species; that all animal and vegetable life was made directly, and as God ordained, should bring forth only "after their kind."
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is separation from God: and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and, in the case of those who reach the age of moral responsibility, are sinners in thought, word, and deed.
We believe that every person that accepts Jesus Christ as their own personal Savior is immediately pardoned of all sin, past, present, and future, and therefore sealed unto the day of redemption by the power of the Holy Spirit. Once a person is saved they can never lose their Salvation.
We believe the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ is a visible, local, self-governing body of born-again, baptized, believers, and that there are only two ordinances: baptism and the Lord's Supper, both of which are only administered to believers.
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to rapture His church out of this world, after which the tribulation period will begin; that after 7 years the Lord will return once again to reign for 1000 years as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
